Ghostlike/Vertige sur fond plat is a fully bilingual collection of drawings born from my physical limitations and from the search for a new directions.

It started on a late rainy night, creativity striking along with pain, forcing me to (temporarily) abandon my large in-progress Thin Green Line, and prompting reflections on lost things, disappeared people, and diminished abilities. It required me to dig out other skills i.e. my unused life drawing practice, and to explore the realm of academic drawing, but not without a spin of my own.

As different as this collection might be, it still speaks the same language of superimpositions, trickery and poetry, and of visual and emotional impact.
