Elsa Chesnel is a multidisciplinary artist, a traveler, and a linguist. From these different experiences, a philosophy of universality took hold. Indeed, no matter what we are made of (the sounds we emit, our skin color, beliefs, walks of life, etc.), Elsa is convinced that we are, at heart, identical. What motivates her research, adventures, and artistic process, is her aspiration for a universal method of communication.
