Murals, permanent as they are in their cities, are short lived in my life of passerby. When striking, I tend to want to carry it around with me. Carry it a little longer. But a photograph of a mural doesn’t reflect its presence, the impact it has on me; on others. And the same goes for portraits. But ally both, and sometimes; sometimes; wonder will happen. Life emerges. Along with playfulness. Along with freedom. Along with a glimpse of magic.
